TONY HANCOCKS Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, Tony passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital on December 20, 2003. He leaves to mourn his children, Julie (Doug), Tim (Tracy), Tracey, Andrew (Elaina) and five grandchildren, Rob, Ben, Cameron, Selena and Jessica. Also special friend Lois Doerksen and family, Kelly (Dan), Kristi (Blair) and grandchildren, Jemini, Jayda, Justin and Jacob. Tony was born to Bert and Lucy Hancocks in Chepstow, Wales on September 18, 1923. He immigrated to Canada in 1953, to Belleville, ON. He was predeceased by his wife Doreen; brother Jack and both parents. Tony retired from the City of Winnipeg, Public Works in 1984 and made his home in Matlock, MB until his passing. The service to celebrate Tonys life will be held on Saturday, December 27 at 12:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. We would like to thank his special friends Dana and Danny Naskar and Tom Kaminsky for their love and support during Tonys illness, as well as other close friends too numerous to mention. Also, special thanks to Dr. Moncek and all the nurses who cared for Tony at Seven Oaks Hospital. Cremation has taken place. Flowers are gratefully declined.
